Melih  joined Grid Turkey 15 years ago and has worked on Grid projects for several Turkish companies and conglomerates.  He also has extensive experience providing consulting services to companies in sales and finance as management tools for managers.

Prior to his career as a consultant, he worked for Xerox Cooperation Turkey as Finance Controller, then for Siemens Leasing Turkey as Marketing Asst. Manager, and for Real Turkey (a retail chain – part of Metro Group) as Marketing Manager. Melih also served as General Manager for a mid-sized company authorized by Nestle Turkey, selling its coffee and snacks via vending machine outlets. In 2005, he founded his own company, which operated as service provider in record management – document archiving business for diverse entities.  During this time period, he also started transitioning into training and consulting services. In 2012, he sold his record management firm to a German company and fully devoted himself to training and consulting.

His professional corporate career and the last 15 years in consultancy gives Melih the ability to realistically understand management challenges of companies in Turkey; whether foreign multinationals or family owned local businesses. Having studied and/or worked in Turkey, USA and Germany and interacted in diverse cultural environments, he developed well-founded abilities in interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. Melih is fluent in Turkish, English and German and is also functional in Italian as well.

Melih received his BA degree from Marmara University, Faculty of Business Administration, Istanbul – Turkey.  After working for WDR Köln, Germany as Finance Associate, he completed a certificate program in International Business, at UCLA, California USA . He then went on to earn his Master’s degree in International Management with focus on corporate finance and investments, from Thunderbird – Graduate School of International Management, Arizona USA.

Melih enjoys watching all kinds of sport events and is a passionate chess player on online platforms.
